Welcome to Intellectual Coaching

This site is designed to help support Bob's coaching by providing valuable information for both the public and Bob's clients

Bob has been coaching Triathlon and swimming for many years, and at the moment is the swim coach for:

Ryton Triathlon Club and
Durham Triathlon Club

As well as being a Level 3 Triathlon coach, Bob is also a Coach Tutor and Assessor and is also a Level 3 Referee

Bob has also worked with several different coaches on training camps both in the UK and Europe.

Open Water Swimming at Hetton Lyons Country Park

Open water swimming has started again at Hetton Lyons Country Park, Hetton-le-Hole, which is off the A690 between Durham and Sunderland (DH5 0RH is the nearest post code, but DON'T put this into your Sat Nav as you'll end up in an industrial estate!!!).

The session will be on Wednesday and Thursday from 18:15 until when you get too cold/tired/bored (in the water at 18:15 if at all possible) its more than likely that the centre will not be open for post swim showers so come prepared for that!!

Sessions will be coached (if required) by level 3 BTA coaches (either me or Colin Gardener), and all abilities are catered for.

Low Cost Sports Massage

As some of you may be aware, Bob Hogg is currently training to be a Sports Masseur at Gateshead College. The final part of the course is to work in a professional environment from now until June. The College will be starting Saturday morning sessions from the 21st Feb 2009 at the New Baltic Campus - see extended news (link below) for details on how to book.
